X7DB8 it's a good choice to a home server?

Olá, I got a good offer to buy a supermicro X7DB8 with 2 processors. I want to use as a movie and series server. It's a good choice?

If its free (or really close to free) then its probably a good deal. But it will be relatively hot, loud, and slow. You will pay extra for that hardware just because it is on and drinking electricity like crazy.

So if it's nearly free, go for it. Otherwise pass on it.
