Windows Share folder listing does not automatically update after copy a file to it

I successfully installed on a PC and am able to share folders, however when I copy a file to a shared folder from a win XP PC client it does not automatically update the folder list. That is, I cannot tell the file got copied.

I actually see the file name etc. ONLY after I refresh that mount point again on the client machine. Why is this?
