So there is one folder not showing in my main dataset. When I go to users in the freenas gui and browse to select home dir I can see the name of the folder but it doesn't show in windows' file manager. When I try to copy the same folder into the dataset, it says I need permission.
When I open a command prompt and list the folders in the directory it is also not among the list. When I toggle hidden files, it doesn't show.
Anyone knows what might be up?
Oh ok, never mind. In the SMB share menu I tried to set permissions recursively, this fixed it. I assume the folder that wasn't showing was a leftover from the pool. I assume I didn't get the permissions of the pool correct.
