Windows Machine to Freenas 11 VM

Hi I am trying to move a old windows 7 machine to a freenas 11 vm.
is there any guides that explain all the steps in doing this from the start to end.
I have no exp. in freebsd or freenas its my first freenas box and loving it so far :)

Is your windows machine booting via UFI or BIOS? Windows does not like to switch without some effort. It may be easier and more reliable to rebuild the Windows OS from scratch. What is your use case?

Thanks for coming back to me.
The Machine boots with bios.
The machine is mostly used as a pastel server over Lan and a ISS web server for a local asp.net website.
more specs about the machine ( that might be older than me ) its runing on 4gb ddr2 memory and a dualcore cpu so i really want toss it out its kinda a eye sore :)

I would build a fresh VM and migrate the data if you can... bhyve is UEFI native and has limited support for BIOS emulation. Also Windows can be extremely picky about hardware changes. A bit of google found https://forums.freebsd.org/threads/bhyve-migrate-windows-7-from-physical-to-virtual.59451/
It's a fair bit of work but possible.
