Hi

I've been using some packages downloaded from here:
ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/amd64/packages-9-stable/
but the whole tree has vanished. The only one left is:
ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/amd64/packages-8.4-release/
Does anyone know where the 9.x packages can be found?

Thanks!

Yes, indeed, you're correct, the whole tree has vanished. I just checked our local mirror which still seems to have them, so that implies maybe a recent tree-cleaning.

You can still pull them off the DVD ISO.

ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/releases/amd64/amd64/ISO-IMAGES/9.3/FreeBSD-9.3-RELEASE-amd64-dvd1.iso

I know that sucks, so if there's something specific you need, I may be able to bop it off our local mirror for you. Drop me a line with what you're looking for.

Thanks for the suggestion! I've unpacked the dvd1 ISO which doesn't seem to list as many packages as I expected.
I guess it doesn't have the full complement of packages that the FTP directory had.
I was looking for all the utilities to convert my DVDs into mp4 files and I've got ffmpeg from the dvd1 so far
