I was emailed this report a couple nights ago:
freenas.local kernel log messages:
> CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1230 V2 @ 3.30GHz (3300.10-MHz K8-class CPU)
> ugen1.3: <American Power Conversion> at usbus1
> SMP: AP CPU #2 Launched!
> SMP: AP CPU #4 Launched!
> SMP: AP CPU #6 Launched!
> SMP: AP CPU #7 Launched!
> SMP: AP CPU #5 Launched!
> Timecounter "TSC-low" frequency 1650049614 Hz quality 1000

ugen1.3 is my APC UPS (and now I see what APC actually stands for). During the rain storm the day before, the lights browned out and the UPS kicked in for a split second. Is that whole error related to the fact that the NAS ran on a UPS? As soon as it happened I got two emails stating it was running on a UPS and then that it was back to normal power.

Thanks

Another night, another error. Since it's the beginning of the month, does this have to do with a ZFS Scrub?

Code:
freenas.local kernel log messages:

The first 20 lines or so are a system shutting down.. the followup lines are what you see on bootup. So my guess is your system is rebooting...

Thank you, you're correct, I did restart the system last night. Does that normally show up in a security report?

I believe you get that email every time you bootup the machine. Since FreeNAS isn't expected to be rebooted much, that email should be a warning that your server was rebooted.
