What's teh new hawtness in shuckable drives?

I've been happy with my shucked WD EasyStore/Elements drives in my FreeNAS box; they've been running for about a year and a half now without issues. But bigger drives are out now, prices are down, etc. I'm assuming that 12 TB is the new $/TB winner? What's the "sale" price point to watch for?
