Recently I am getting this report consistently.
freenas.local kernel log messages:
arp: d0:50:99:c3:78:b7 attempts to modify permanent entry for 192.168.1.121 on igb0
arp: d0:50:99:c3:78:b7 attempts to modify permanent entry for 192.168.1.121 on igb0
arp: d0:50:99:c3:78:b7 attempts to modify permanent entry for 192.168.1.121 on igb0
arp: d0:50:99:c3:78:b7 attempts to modify permanent entry for 192.168.1.121 on igb0
arp: d0:50:99:c3:78:b7 attempts to modify permanent entry for 192.168.1.121 on igb0
arp: d0:50:99:c3:78:b7 attempts to modify permanent entry for 192.168.1.121 on igb0

Yesterday I have this as well:
ugen0.3: <CPS CP1000AVRLCDa> at usbus0 (disconnected)
ugen0.3: <CPS CP1000AVRLCDa> at usbus0

Last week I got this one:
arp: d0:50:99:c3:78:b6 is using my IP address 192.168.1.121 on igb1!

Most of the time is just these:
arp: d0:50:99:c3:78:b7 attempts to modify permanent entry for 192.168.1.121 on igb0
arp: d0:50:99:c3:78:b7 attempts to modify permanent entry for 192.168.1.121 on igb0

What do all these mean? Why am I getting these? Am I posting some sensitive information in this post which I should remove? That IP is just a local IP. Not sure what is the 'arp' value and 'CPS'. Is CPS something to do with me UPS power supply?

Sounds like you might have the same IP assigned to something else, or the same IP on multiple NIC's. You can get and idea what kind of device it is from this link https://www.wireshark.org/tools/oui-lookup.html. In your case, that is this:
Code:
D0:50:99 AsrockIn ASRock Incorporation

Perhaps the same IP is assigned to the IPMI interface?

I think that maybe the case. I unplugged the Lan cable from the IMPI port and will see if I can eliminate the warning. I will also try to assign a dedicated IP to that port if that's the case. Thanks, Elliot.
