I was just poking around on my 9.2.0.
What is the /rescue directory? It seems to contain 142 files, almost all of which are 4985656 in length, and almost all (or, possibly, all) of which are names of files in /usr/bin or /bin, like cp, ls, rmdir, etc. Running those files sure seems to do what you think. But a little math says this comes out to 700'ish MB for this stuff? Can't be right.
What am I looking at? What are these things in /rescue? My Google-Fu, for some reason, was pretty weak on this. Searching for "/rescue freenas" and so on gave me people trying to rescue their data after being a dumbass, not what I was looking for.
Thanks in advance.
