What happened to pip?

Hello there

I just updated to Scale 22.02.2 and I can't find python pip anymore.
What happened. How can I bring it back??
I have a python script running that controls fans on my hard drives.
I need access to host comport and smartctl. Can this be done from an app, and if so, is there any help on how to create an app that can run my script and still have access to the host's comports and smartctl data.
