This morning's FreeNAS email started with these two lines:

Code:
umass0: SCSI over Bulk-Only; quirks = 0xc101
uhub_explore: illegal enable change, port 5

From what I can see, everything is working fine on this box, and I don't think I have ever seen these log messages before. I have tried searching the forum but nothing related came up.

Does anyone know what these two lines mean?

The first is a USB mass storage device, possibly a boot drive. It is just a detection message.
The second is a USB hub. This could be a standalone hub or built into a composite device, like a keyboard with additional control keys or USB sockets. This is an error/warning, but I don't know whether it is a problem.

This would make sense, since I boot from USB. The boot drive is also in a built-in USB hub, so that would explain error number 2 as well.

Uhm, thanks for now, I'll also wait for some additional confirmation, I don't know if I should worry or not.
