I changed the IPv4 to 192.168.1.10 and the IPv4 Netmask to 255.255.255.0/24 in the Interfaces settings - not understanding what I was doing. Usually I read and make sure of what I am about to do. There were 2 interfaces eno0 and eno1 and I changed the second.

I apologize in advance as I haven't been able to find anything on google. I have tried to ping the original ip address 192.168.1.230 with no return. I tried to ping 192.168.1.10 and there is nothing there either. I am worried that I have really done it and am not going to be able to access my NAS any more.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What is an "eno" interface? Are both interfaces connected to the network? If so... disconnect one.

The console is the easy way to see what is going on. Connect a monitor and keyboard to use it.
