Wasted space in UI

I find that in several places the UI has a lot of wasted or unused space that could be made use of to make for a better experience.
And (unless this is some weird glitch) the worst is the Jails UI.

The most obvious issue is only about half the screen is used for the actual jails table, the rest is a giant blank spot.
There is other issues like the header of the table presenting the duplicate information and the table configuration controls taking up more space than needed.

As it stands, if I actually expand the jail it eats up the entire table and unless it's the first listing the controls get cut off.

Here's a mockup of a how I think this could be changed to make better use of screen real-estate

As you can see, I deleted the table header and moved the controls up to the psuedo-address bar area. This freed up a bunch of room to move the column headers to the top and I expanded the table to make full use of the area.

Several other parts of the UI take a similar form but none (that I've noticed) have had as bad of a giant blank area as the Jails UI. Though I think they could all benefit from adjusting where the table header into the address bar.

There are other suggestions I have for the UI but I don't have anything mocked up for them (they haven't frustrated me as much).

The UX has gotten a lot of improvements on the SCALE side of things. Perhaps take a look there to see where its going in the future. I won't claim its perfect yet, but it is starting to fix a lot of those little issues I had as well.

SCALE definitely looked better in some areas but looks like it might have similar issues in the future. I'll hold off on critiquing it until it's more finalized.

However, I do want to make it clear to the UX team that they should make use of the space they have on each page to present as much info that is possible without losing clarity. Some of the pages still look silly where they open to basically an options menu of a few links of dedicated pages (thinking about SCALE's page where you go to set up things like snapshots).
