SOLVED Volume vs. dataset size differences

Created a RAIDZ volume that is 21.7TB in size, freenas created a matching dataset with the same name, however, it is only 16.8TB in size. Where did the remaining ~4TB or so go? I assume this is some parity?

Figured it out, It is like a RAID 5. 21TB total for the drives - 1 full drive for parity (16TB total).
