I am brand new to FreeNAS. I am trying to get iot running on an HP Proliant MicroServer N40L. I have installed the OS on a USB drive. The system has 16 GB of memory and I have four WD20EARX 2 TB drives in the machine. I try to create a RAIDZ2 volume using all of the drives. I am using the GUI and I click add volume and I get an error unable to GPT format the disk ada0. I have taken the drives out a formatted them on a window machine. I have tried a fresh install. When I try to wipe the drives it says that the operation is not permitted. Another post suggested that gpart show might be helpful is diagnosing the issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Code:
root@freenas ~]# gpart show

Well, I solved my issue. I went into the server bios and deleted any disk configuration information. I had turned the raid off in the bios, but I had not deleted any of the raid configuration. Once I turned on the raid, deleted the raid configuration and then turned it off again, the volume create worked.
