My motherboard crashed and need to move all my data to a new build. I have one volume broken up between two 500 disks. Every time it booted up in the new build it showed unable to read available disk space. So I detached the volume to try to reimport it automatically and now it keep getting an error stating, " The Volume failed to import, for further details check pool status". but when I check the zpool status only shows my 2nd volume and not volume I am trying to import.

Please help.

Single disk vdevs, huh? Guess what, that bad idea came back to bite you in the ass. Only one of the two is showing up.

Either get the other disk working or there is nothing anyone can do.

How on earth can you say that?! Do you have a habit of using things that you know nothing about? It's not even a FreeNAS thing, it's a basic RAID concept.

I urge you to do some research before touching any servers, for your own safety.

You're missing a disk that your pool needs. Fix that disk or your data is gone.
