Virtualbox Bridged network mode

Hi guys,
I am trying to run Windows XP inside a Virtual Machine.

I got to install it and everything looks super cool but I can't get to have the network working.

This is the network settings page on the VM : http://i.imgur.com/zaSn3rC.png

When on Windows XP, I can see the network, DHCP even gives me a valid address and recognize the gateway.
Everything looks good but I can't ping anything.

Am I missing something?

Sort of.

I had this problem while learning Freenas in a virtualized test enviroment, with virtualbox.
Like ( Windows 7 host -> Virtualbox -> Freenas guest -> Virtualbox -> Windows XP guest)
kinda of winception.

On the live, real, server, this issue didn't occured.
I just add a new jail using the Virtualbox template and it just work out of the box.

Are you trying to make it work in a similar enviroment ?
