Viewing config files

Is it possible to view config and log files from a windows client using explorer?

Config is in a database, not flat files.

Log files are in the .system dataset. Just need to share that out

Thank you for putting up with newbee questions. The system dataset is located on usb stick?

I am not seeing it on my pool. What is the folder called?

Thanks for being so patient. I still don't see .system directory. I have attached to screen shots for your review. It should have appeared before the first directory.

You can't share out the .system dataset with CIFS, NFS, etc. The .system dataset is mounted in /var/db/system, which is not a valid location to share from the WebGUI. :D

Obviously the OP didn't do it, then. To the OP - learn about the CLI. Most of us would SSH into ours servers and look at the data that way.
