\var filling up after upgrade to 8.0.4

After upgrading to 8.0.4 my \var file system keeps filling up. I thought it was because Freenas and my AD weren't playing nice, but after rebooting FreeNAS and logging out all the clients , this morning /var is back up to 78%.

I'm not sure where else to look for issues, and am a bit rusty with UNIX skills. I would appreciate any help with diagnosing why /var file system is filling up.

I have attached a df listing, and a copy of /var/messages

This can be closed. I found that the logging for the cifs shares had been set for "debug' because of a previous issue. Once I changed it back to minimum, Services->CIFS, \var quit filling up.

There must have been a change in the code base for this, as I think this setting has been in "debug" on my systems for months. I have a test system, that ran into the very same issue.

All are good now.
