FreeNAS doesn't support wireless NIC's.

What are your "server" specs?

To your question, no, wireless NICs aren't supported by any version of FreeNAS. And sorry to say, your hardware isn't really adequate even for the ancient version of FreeNAS you're running, and much less so for any semi-recent version. If you need to do a NAS with that hardware, you should really look into a different operating system. Alternatively, if you want to use FreeNAS, you'll need to look into newer hardware. Fortunately, you can buy a brand-new server (the Dell PowerEdge T30) for a few hundred dollars. Add some RAM to bring it up to a minimum of 8 GB, and you should be good to go.
