Hi all.
I am fairly new to TrueNas. I have built a TrueNas core server to replace my old Drobo a while ago. I was wondering if there is a way to now use the Drobo as a backup. I have not been able to find much of anything on the forums regarding this question. The Drobo would be on the same network as the TrueNas server. There is about 8TB of data that I would like to have backed up and for it to be able to check daily for new files. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
The Drobo is a B810N model.
This is my TrueNas core server specs:
MOBO - MBD-H12DSi-N6-O
CPU - 2X AMD EPYC 7542
RAM - 128GB 8x16GB DDR4-3200 PC4-25600 1Rx4 RDIMM ECC
DRIVES - 8X Seagate Ironwolf 125 2TB SSD
4X Seagate Ironwolf 125 4TB SSD
2X Samsung 980 for boot drives
2X Samsung 980 for Mirrored special VDEV
