UPS slave - no output from UPSC command

Hi,
I am trying to get UPS setup as a slave to monitor a UPS that is currently USB'd to a QNAP. WINNUT clients on PCs are connected just fine. I am putting the same login info into the TrueNAS and getting unclear results. I'm mostly guessing it's just not connected... sometimes the alerts windows says connection lost, sometimes not alerts at all. The most bothersome thing is the shell/UPSC command is just seemingly running but returning no output. Maybe 1 of 3 times it returns disconnected, but mostly just blank as the picture shows. QNAP user/pw is admin / 123456 by default, so I'm using that for now as it's what the PCs are using to connect successfully.

Any glaring setup error here? Thanks.

I would set/try: User upsmon ; Password fixmepass ; and check Remote Monitor.

TL:DR:
!!SOLVED!! The issue was mostly assuming it was connected b/c the lack of output from UPSC, instead of getting some kind of error... just blank response. The issue was on QNAP server access side, which requires specific IP list for access.

Thanks Redcoat for the idea. This turned out to be a QNAP UPS master/server settings issue, I forgot you have to specifically add clients in the QNAP GUI. Or you could go change the UPS conf. files manually if you know what you're doing... SOLVED for now! Now I'm getting results from UPSC command and the alerts bell drop down shows that the UPS is on line power currently....

Eventually I'll turn the TrueNAS into the master... but the QNAP migration is just getting started...

Succcess w/ UPSC....
