Upgrade python version

I installed FreeNAS-9.2.1.5 with Python 2.7.6 and would like to upgrade to Python 2.7.7. Would this cause any incompatibilities? What is the recommended way to upgrade software installed with FreeNAS, pkg, pkgng, ports ...?

Just do a jail and run all you want from there.

FreeNAS takes an appliance approach. well actually is an appliance.
