Hi,

I have tried upgrade my perfect working 11.2-U7 to 11.3-U2 but no luck.
After reboot I receive alert "
New alerts:
* Attempt to connect to netlogon share failed with error: [EFAULT] could not obtain winbind interface details: Winbind daemon is not available.
could not obtain winbind domain name!
failed to call wbcPingDc: Winbind daemon is not available.. "
winbind logfile means "winbindd could not fetch our SID"

I'm nit sure if this is my problem but the smb4.conf from 11.3-U2 has a different entry

idmap config rjap.de: backend = rid
idmap config rjap.de: range = 20000-90000000

but my smb4.conf from 11.1.U7 means

idmap config RJAP: backend = rid
idmap config RJAP: range = 20000-90000000

Any idea whats going wrong here and what I can do?
Thanks

Latest FreeNAS version 11.3-U2.1 has a samba patch that may be a fix for you?

Check your WORKGROUP in Services->SMB. It should be "RJAP" and not "rjap.de".

I'm sorry - It was latest update - to U2.1

Check your WORKGROUP in Services->SMB. It should be "RJAP" and not "rjap.de".

Thx, I will check it again

@anodos - perfect it work. But for me the big question - under 11.1.U7 was my WORKGROUP = RJAP, unter 11.3-U2.1 rjap.de
