Dear FreeNas community,
I am experienceing a very strange issue with one of my servers when I try to upgrade from 8.2.0 to 8.3.0 or 8.3.1. I have attempted to do this through the GUI and CD; I have even backed up the configuration, replaced the thumb drive that it boots from and did a fresh install. My issue is that the GUI upgrade gets to 1% and simply says "An error has occurred" if I do the CD upgrade it appears to work but boots back to 8.2.0. What boggles my mind is that this same thing happened when I tried to do a fresh install on a new thumb drive. I downloaded the latest 8.3.1 ISO, booted from it, followed the prompts for an upgrade and then this machine still states build: FreeNAS-8.2.0-RELEASE-p1-x64 (r11950)
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
