I had to reinstall my system from a backup. All good now but I want to get my replication tasks started again. My main system is on 11.3U2 and my backup is on 11.2U4. The replication wizard is changed in 11.3 and I couldn't figure out how to get the replication on my Main to pull the backup. I wound up doing an rsync. I thought I should start by updating my backup server to 11.3 as well. I've tried to update from the GUI and
1) How do I fix the update issue?
2) Can I use replication to backup the Main server as I have new data that doesn't exist on the backup. Or do I have to start the replication to a fresh directory and delete the old backup directory?
3) What is the best practice for doing a backup. Do you replicate, rsync or something else?
4) If you replicate do you do the entire pool or just the data. If I destroy a jail and reinstall, it breaks the replication task if I do the entire pool. Then I have to delete the snapshot on the backup for the jail to fix it.
5) Is using

freenas-update -v check && freenas-update --reboot -v update from the CLI but after the reboot it is still at 11.2U4. In the GUI there is no option to changed to 11.3 only 12.0 nightlies.1) How do I fix the update issue?

iocage export <JAIL_NAME> a good option to backup the jails?
