Hello!

I have a system running FreeNAS 9.2.1.7 and would like to update it to 9.3

The existing boot setup is a gm mirror of 2 HDD instead of flash. Since 9.3 changes the boot setup to a ZFS mirrored setup (from what I've read and understood of the docs), I wanted to check and see if my (admittedly non-standard) setup would upgrade smoothly.

I'm not against a re-installation and restoring the config, if that's the best path, but I figured I would ask first.

Thanks

Easiest way is to backup the config file, wipe the boot drives, install 9.3 (selecting both drives) and upload the config file.
