This applies to both CrashPlan and Transmission PBIs.
I had a similar issue earlier last year, so I followed the instructions here and edited the two lines of the file. In this case, they were once again missing in the CrashPlan jail. After restarting the jail and starting the service, I had no success.
The plug in turns on or so it appears to in the GUI and the button stays on indefinitely. However navigating from the page and returning to it show the plugin to be in the off position.
Transmission I can actually get into the web UI and add a torrent or two before it loses connection. Similar to CrashPlan, if I stay on the FreeNAS gui to watch the PBI turn off, I'm unable to as it appears to be on indefinitely. It's only when I navigate away from the page and return to it that it show the plugin is off.
