Hello,

I am looking for the appropriate link to do a manual version update for a unit from -9.10-STABLE. The versions i have been able to find do not appear to push to the unit properly.

Well, as stated in the post, the box in need of the update resides in a COLO that is isolated from the outside network. So, i cannot do the "pull" update from the network. I am just looking for a download location to do a manual update "push" style to this box

The easy answer is to download the installer, boot the installer, and when it detects your existing installation, it will offer to upgrade it. Failing that, this seems to be the manual upgrade file, but I'm not sure how many versions back it will work.

So, I will restate the original question. The Freenas in question is in a remote COLO. I have internal network access to the unit, but that is as far as it goes. I cannot allow this machine to directly connect to the internet to pull an update. I want to upgrade it to the latest version 11-U2. I just require the "manual" update files for this version as the versions provided in ^ post dont appear to do anything to this unit.
It will sit here for a good chunk of time, and then just refresh to the home page of the Freenas box as if nothing was uploaded.

Does the system have IPMI or something similar? If yes, then download the installer, create a boot device, remote mount the boot device and then run the installer. It will detect the previous installation and offer to either Upgrade the existing installation or perform a fresh install.

That did it for me! Thanks a bunch.

I will add my problem with manual update (UI) from 11.1-U2 to 11.1.-U3 in offline mode (without internet).
I had got errors and FN dont update.

I thinking, that is because, it cant connect to update servers.

Code:
Mar 21 11:17:09 pcbackup /freenas-update: [freenasOS.Configuration:772] Unable to load http://update-master.ixsystems.com/updates/ix_crl.pem: <urlopen error timed out>
