Hi all

This prob a stupid question..but my system is on FreeNAS-9.2.0-RC-x64 (93440a9) and all drives are ufs...but if I update to 9.3 it now uses zfs.

Will this delete my drives being used or is it just the boot drive that now changes?

It will make your data drives disappear. THe data won't be gone, but you won't be able to access the data.

Keep in mind that with 9.3 you will need 8GB of RAM minimum to avoid problems.

So what you are saying all the storage drives disappear data not lost use program to copy data off drives first then redo drives in zfs and replace data back?

Yes, backup your data elsewhere, upgrade to 9.3. Create your zpool on the disks, then copy the data back.
