Update to 11.1 - Timecounter "HPET" frequency 19200000 Hz quality 950

hi,

Updating my NAS every time ends in a big mess :/

after Updating to freenas 11.1 i cant restart freenas and get a message: Timecounter "HPET" frequency 19200000 Hz quality 950. I use ASRock J3455-ITX with UEFI-BOOT and FreeNAS-11.0-U2.

Can help anyone or have the same problem?

Personally, I'm avoiding 11.1. There are quite a few reports of issues. Remember, this is enterprise software... unless there's a big driving force to upgrade, it's usually better to not be on the bleeding edge. I'd upgrade to 11.0U4 and stay there, at least until 11.1U1 is out.

I have the same issue, if i want update to 11.0U4

kiba25, I've the same issue (with quality 950) using ASRock J3455-M.
I've tried upgrading from the gui and from a usb thumb drive. The usb thumb drive cannot boot: get the same message and stops.
Do have someone a solution?

thanks for your hint, but i am not a programmer and can not extract a solution. I can understand it rudimentarily, but am not experienced enough. I need a presise instruction.

But it is the same problem: a precise and correct instruction is missing. I have a lot work to do and i don't want to risk some startup problems again, because i misunderstood something. I like the freenas system and i guess its was a good decision, but the update issue its totally annoying me.

i tried it both too, but no success :(

And I've tried FreeBSD 11 and NAS4Free (also FreeBSD 11). All the same problem as with FreeNAS 11. So for my ASRock J3455-M I'll stay with FreeNAS 9.10.

Same problem as th OP- on J3455-ITX I am Stable with FreeNAS-11.0-U4, but it fails update to any later version with "HPET frequency 19200000 Hz quality 950"
I have C-States disabled and CMS enabled in BIOS

I tried setting the following Loaders and updating via the GUI, but same failure on update.

That's all I tried, though, cuz I am happy and stable on v11. BUT if anyone has a reliable fix- I would test.
