I don't think I should be spammed every day if I choose to wait to install an update to see the fallout...

I don't consider a single email to be "spam". :p If you want to see spam, configure zfs replication then turn off the replication target. Last time I did server maintenance I received about 300 emails.

I'm with you, @Stux . Every morning I have to scan the 'Update Available' note to make sure it isn't something new.

Acknowledging the 'There is a new update available! Apply it in System' alert in the dashboard should stop the daily email notification until such time as a new update is available.

I feel your pain, @anodos . I have eight replication tasks on one server. I always forget to disable replication when we're working on the target. By the time I realize my mistake, there are dozens - if not hundreds - of messages flying at me.

Cheers,
Matt

I ran U2 ;)

I received over 5000 emails in one day because of its replication bug. But it fixed a critical bug for mein samba

The last time something like this happened to me I only got about one email per replication task. Managed to have the server turned on before I was overwhelmed by email.
