SOLVED unable to update to 9.10 (Update server could not be reached)

Hello Everyone,

Trying to update to 9.10 but get the "Update server could not be reached" message when I try to check for updates.

The server is able to send out emails and can even ping the update.freenas.org server from shell.

Anyone has any suggestions?

I am running FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE-201604150515

There were several bug tickets created about that this morning. Looks like it was a DNS issue which has since been resolved.

Resolved as well. Left the system on its own for a few hours and things sorted themselves out.

Update keeps getting stuck at Installing base-os (1/5).

Probably still some server issues.

If I want to perform the update manually, do i just download the 9.10 iso or are there specific update files? if there are specific update files, could you provide a link.

Use System -> Update to update (as you no longer manually download update files).
