Every other day or so one (or more) of the plugins stop running and will not start up again. I go and delete the plugin jails and then delete the plugins. Normally I then go through the process of installing the plugins and re-configuring the plugin. For some reason this time, I can not download and install the jail template?

I have been searching this forum and Google for a solution, however I have not found a solution that works.

I tried the following from Djole's 'Freenas 9.3 can't install plugins' thread and was able to install a plugin afterwards.

Code:
warden template create -nick pluginjail -tar http://download.freenas.org/jails/9.3/x64/freenas-pluginjail-9.3-RELEASE.tgz

What do you do exactly? Just type that command into the main FreeNAS shell? I have the same problem when installing plugins; "Unable to find template" error.

Did this work? If so, how did you execute?

The commands in here that Stricker79 is asking about should just be run in the freenas shell

I had some trouble with this after upgrading from 9.3 to 9.10. The jail configuration needed to be changed for me. In the web GUI I changed a setting under Jails > Configuration > Advanced > Collection URL:

I changed http://download.freenas.org/jails/9.3/x64/ to http://download.freenas.org/jails/10/x64/

I had deleted my Jail dataset because I was trying to follow other guides, but if you're getting that can't find template error then I bet you won't need to delete yours.
