Unable to create / mount new Boot Environment

Trying to upgrade to today's 9.10-stable, and get the following:

I had a failed upgrade to the nightlies as well with similar. Ideas?

It might be worthwhile to save the config and try installing today's latest to another stick. That way it's easier to determine if it's a config that's doing that, and if so, if one of the fixes in the SU fixed it.

I found the issue -- beadm list was returning 1, saying the freenas-boot pool had no bootfs set.

Is it possible to have the verify or something else in the system check/set that?

I wonder if that has been fixed yet... Can you see if there's something related at bugs.freenas.org and create an issue if there isn't?
