Unable to connect via AFP

Hi All,

For some reason when I try to connect to afp://freenas where "freenas" is my servers name i get
There was a problem connecting to the server “freenas” error, but if i use IP instead it works just fine.
What can be causing this?

Does the FreeNAS system have an entry in the DNS server? If not, in the hosts file of the client system?

Not even sure what you mean by that...:). Where should I be looking at for the DNS server entry?
If i try to connect to "smb://freenas" it works fine

Got it.

I works fine if i use afp://freenas.local
