I no longer have access to the STABLE update trains after I upgraded my hardware. I have since disabled automatic update checks so that I don't get a nightly release. How do I return back to the stable update train? The installed freenas version is 9.10.2-U1.

This actually happened to me once, the 9.10-STABLE just disappeared from the list. This is a known issue/bug, related to an interaction in the browser cache:

freenas-update -T FreeNAS-9.10-STABLE -v check followed by freenas-update -T FreeNAS-9.10-STABLE -v --reboot update
