I have a freenas box which was disconnected for several months due to a move. I got it all hooked back up but now I'm unable to authenticate. On the console I get the login prompt, when i enter a username i do not get prompted for a password. It ends up timing out after 300seconds. Ive tried to ssh into the box, it looks like its going to work, i get the prompt for the fingerprint, then..... it times out.
The only clue I have is when I attempted the ssh connection, the console says to the effect "sshd error opening connection to nslcd: file not found". I thought maybe one of my drives connections had come lose so I checked those, no issues but im not 100% sure. I do not see any errors on startup. Im kinda stuck, not sure what to do next.
