Does anyone have any recommendations for a U.2 PCie card? I've been eyeing the "DiLiVing 8 Port U.2 to PCI Express x16 SFF-8639 NVMe SSD Adapter with SFF-8643 Mini-SAS HD 36 Pin Connector and PLX8749 chipset for Servers-LRNV9349-8I" but have no seen anyone posts on this so not sure if it would even work with truenas or not. This would be used with my Speed NAS details in my signature.

Well, that's a PCIe switch card from an unknown source.
Questions about whether you're buying what you think you're buying aside, it should conceptually work. PCIe switches are well-supported just about anywhere. Though keep in mind that cabling for NVMe SSDs is a bit of a minefield, so you'll need to research the backplane to figure out the cables you'd need (if you're using one).
