Hi all,

After the upgrade to TrueNAS I experience unexpected reboots from time to time (once per 1-2 weeks). It was never happened with the FreeNAS before. I've opened tickets against the support with the kernel logs etc., but resolution was "we don't know, different reasons, to little data to identify" etc. (https://jira.ixsystems.com/browse/NAS-109406 and https://jira.ixsystems.com/browse/NAS-109890).

Kindly ask to suggest the steps to do the in-place downgrade back to the latest FreeNAS (unfortunately, I have no additional disks to do the copy-install-paste approach).

Unless you deleted the FreeNAS boot environment, and have upgraded your pool features, rolling back is as simple as selecting the old boot environment in System->Boot, and then rebooting. Otherwise, you're stuck with rebuilding your pool from backup.

What are the pool features? Btw, is there a comprehensive (technical) comparison between the TrueNAS Core and FreeNAS?

Thanks for the links. Looks like I have a choice - either the issue will be fixed in TrueNAS, or need to backup and move away from the TrueNAS...
Ok, guys, thank you for the help.
