Truenas Scale Plex Installation

I'm having a permission error with reading the data that's on the pool. When I run ls -al it shows that for whatever reason the app plex doesn't have permissions to read the data is there a way I can use chmod to change that or is there something i'm missing here. When I look at the directory in plex it shows that it is indeed there but greyed out due to read permissions not being enabled for whatever reason.
