Hi,
I recently switched from TrueNAS 13 to the latest TrueNAS Bluefin release. I was aware the ownbackup which I have been using heavily is not available out of the box anymore, but I find it surprisingly hard to find an alternative.
I am looking for something that would - like ownbackup - provide a UI which allows me to configure backup options for the clients, like which directories to exclude, adapt the schedule, do incremental backups and so on.
As a home user, I don't care too much about the old backups that have been created, but of course would like to avoid being without backups for all the services in my network for too long.
The backup clients are mainly Linux / BSD based. But I would be happy about a solution to backup Macs and Windows as well, although that'd be just a nice extra.
Do you have a suggestion for me? Or should I just create a VM with ownbackup?
Thanks!
