TrueNAS Core and Dell H200E with EMC VNX SAE

I'm using TrueNAS Core and I have purchased the Dell H200E (external SAS) and an EMC VNX SAE storage array/disk shelf. I've put the HBA card into the Truenas system and connected it to the diskshelf, nothing appears in Truenas, which is kinda what I expected. I believe I need to flash the Dell card to IT mode (not sure if it is already) and hopefully that would work. Can anyone guide me in the right direction with this so I'm following the right guides for what I have?

it sounds like you already know the answer; less RAID. if it's not in IT mode, then it's not an HBA.
that card would not show any disks until you build an array if its in RAID Mode...and you aren't seeing any disks, soooo.

After much searching I find a couple of guides and figured out what to do, it did need flashing from the Dell FW. Had a little bit of fiddling to do in my rack to get it to work as I didnt have a lot of space in my rack. trying out gpu's that werent working, only one that worked didnt fit properly in the rack case. I always get the difficult jobs, but I get there in the end. Now I've got 25x600gb SAS drives for 15TB of space. Now for the software side of it.
