Playing around with Version: TrueNAS-12.0-RC1 I faced some unpleasant behaviour trying to add an alternative VLAN
1. Adding VLAN via Network->Interfaces, ADD.
with the following parameters
Type: VLAN
Name: vlan333
Parent interface: igb1
Vlan Tag: 333
IP Addresses: 10.33.33.33
2. APPLY
3. Then TEST CHANGES requests the confirmation to switch down the interface. So Confirm & Test Changes.
After that network drops for about a minute and then comes back with new interface in the Interfaces list.
Button TEST CHANGES does not grays out and pressing it once again gives the SAVE CHANGES. If you press, the make changes permanent prompt appears. Then I comfirm the permanent changes.
Arfter that if you logout and then login back, you see no VLAN interface in the interface list, but the interface itself works.
If you reboot VLAN does not comes back, nor you can see it in the interface list.
If I don't miss something, it means, in particular, that the changes were not recorded and were not made permanent.
If someone could suggest a solution, it would be nice.
