TrueCommand Docker - Gmail smtp Setup Error

I'm running the latest TrueCommand v2.3.2 docker image and have my Truenas Core instance linked to it.

I am trying to set up email alerts with gmail as the smtp relay as mentioned in the documentation but getting the below error:

-1 tis: first record does not look like a TLS handshake

I have tried:
- Mailserver =
- smtp.gmail.com
- smtp-relay.gmail.com
- Mailserver port =
- 587, TLS checked (and also unchecked)
- 465, TLS checked (and also unchecked)
- 25, TLS checked (and also unchecked.

See attached screenshots for more information. I can occasionally get a test email to go through, but when I click save I get the error and it doesn't appear to save the configuration.

Any help would be appreciated!
