True Nas Scale issues

Hi there True nas Scale was running fine on prox mox, however ever within turenas scale console i did a sudo apt get update etc and since then true nas vm wont run , it was all set up and running and cant figure it out as to what went wrong. Can anyone who uses Team viewer remote in to see if they can fix it for me.

Scale should be treated as an appliance. Meaning upgrades/updates should be done through the ui. Never with apt-get. Running apt get update likely broke the middleware by updating modules/packages to versions that are not compatible and undoing customizations put in place to make it work. This is why most linux based "appliances" hide the normal shell and or disable update commands like apt You could try going through the apt history.log and rolling back the modules that updated. But most likely you'll need to reinstall

Though apt-get update and apt-get install should be relatively safe, for small tools. :)
