Beware of non-server fans here, as non-screaming fans may not be able to cool the drives and/or the CPUs.

Yup. I’d only consider replacing the optional Dell “high performance” fans with the baseline Dell fans designed for this server, but temps take priority so I’d keep on eye on that.
