Thoughts on MB and CPU

Hello I wanted to get some thoughts for a new build.
Only used for SMB Shares, Plex, 1 or 2 VM's
No more than 3-4 Users

Motherboard - MSI MEG Z590 UNIFY-X LGA 1200 Intel Z590 SATA 6Gb/s ATX Intel Motherboard
CPU - Intel Xeon W-1390T Wanted Low TDP with a decent passmark

1. Any known compatibility issues?
2. Any issues with Quicksync or the iGPU on the CPU?
3. I'm up for better recommendations?

Just asking - How you picked the MB with that CPU?

(I think the MB doesn't support Xeon? I could be wrong - I'm out of the hardware market in decades.. heheh)

Indeed, you need a W480/W580 motherboard with a Xeon W-1300. Z590 is not supposed to work, and in any case will not support ECC.

I looked for a processor with a high passmark score with a TDP of 35-45 Watts

Motherboard specs LGA 1200
Intel Ark web site W-1390T - FCLGA1200

I could be wrong and they may be incompatible.

Thanks. That probably saved me from a bunch of headaches. Not sure the W-1300 has a TDP of 35-45 Watts though.

I'm looking for a CPU + MB that has a passmark of above 20,000 in the 35-45 Watt range with at least 16 PCI lanes and 2 - M.2's because one is probably shared.

But consider that "TDP" is NOT "actual power use".
