synchronizing (or comparing) configurations

I know rsync works to synchronize files between servers. I want to make sure my servers have the same configurations (except where not appropriate). Is there a good method for this? Thanks.

No, but that kind of thing is being investigated. Maybe later this year there'll be interesting news.
