Symbios Logic - LSI 2008 support

I have a Supermicro motherboard, X8SI6-F with built-in 8 port LSI 2008 sas connection. When is support for LSI 2008 expected in Freenas?

well here is the compatibility list for the board, http://www.supermicro.com/support/resources/OS/C7_X8.cfm it says bsd 7.2 works with the sata controller, not the sas controller. however the place to ask is the fine people who make FreeBSD.
